When one thinks of having a sandwich from Subway, the last thing to cross one’s mind is to pair it with an Indian condiment. Now a tweet that shows a desi mom enjoying a Subway sandwich with achaar (pickle) has amused netizens.

Earlier this week, Twitter user @halitosis4700 shared a picture that showed her mother holding a Subway sandwich with a portion of pickle on the side. While sharing this photo, @halitosis4700 wrote, “got my mom a sub and she’s eating it with achaar..peak indian mom behaviour ”.
