The iQOO Z7s has been launched in India. The company has silently added this new 5G phone to its portfolio without any announcements because of obvious reasons. It is the same phone as the iQOO Z7 5G, which was recently introduced in the country. The only major difference between the two devices is the chipset and the company increased the price of the original Z7 smartphone. Here is everything you need to know.
The latest iQOO Z7s is listed on Amazon with a starting price of Rs 18,999. This is for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage model. The 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is priced at Rs 19,999. The price of the original iQOO Z7 5G has now been increased to Rs 21,990 on Flipkart. The company also sells the iQOO Neo 7 device for Rs 29,999 in India. This means that the brand now has 5G phones at different price points, so it is able to attract all the buyers.
Additionally, there are also some launch offers. The e-commerce giant is giving a discount of Rs 1,500 on ICICI and HDFC bank cards. Hence, people who have these cards will be able to buy the iQOO Z7s at a much lower price.
Now, let's take a quick look at the specifications of the iQOO Z7s. It is the same phone as the iQOO Z7 and the latest one just has a new chip, which is Snapdragon 695. This is not surprising because several mid-range 5G phones priced under Rs 20,000 are using the same SoC. It is currently unknown why the company has launched a new phone with just a different chipset.
The new iQOO Z7s sports a 6.38-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with support for 90Hz refresh rate, 360Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, up to 1300nits peak brightness, and Schott Xensation Glass Protection. It features a punch-hole display design and a typical back camera design that we have seen on a few other phones in the market.
For photography and video recording, the new 5G phone has a 64-megapixel primary ISOCELL GW3 sensor with f/1.79 aperture and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel front camera.
It features a 4,500mAh battery under the hood. The company has provided support for 44W charging and it also bundles a fast charger in the retail box along with the phone. The handset is also IP54 rated. This one even has a 3.5mm headphone jack, but offers a single bottom-firing speaker.
